A new commissary on the Eglin Air Force base located in Valparaiso, Florida was constructed as a typical steel frame building. But developers wanted the new on-base store, known as the Eglin AFB Commissary and Shoppette, to be an attractive place for service members and their dependents to purchase everything from party trays to plants.
The 4” Split Face architectural masonry units selected for the commissary's facade does not require scheduled paintings to maintain its attractiveness.
Produced at Block USA's Defuniak Springs plant, these attractive concrete masonry units provide a low maintenance, affordable veneer.
